Justin Bieber: ‘I Just Wanna Honestly Live Like Jesus’

Justin Bieber who gained his prominence at the young age of 13 is not an exception to the eyes of the media and Hollywood who keeps on bashing Christians for their faith.

Bieber, after his excessive fame between the year 2013 and 2014 exited on a dangerous path engaging in numerous physical altercations, run-ins with the law, drug use and sex.

He wasn’t a devout Christian but after knowing Christ he was changed. All the wrong things he had done in the past, he put it all behind him.

Today, Justin Bieber always speaks out about his faith to the public and he isn’t ashamed of it despite the bashes he receives from the media.

Religion News Service reported that on September 20, Bieber sang the Christian worship song “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever” to tens of thousands of fans on his Purpose Tour in Paris.

However, his Purpose Tour wasn’t the first time Bieber publicly professed his faith. In 2015, he told Complex, “I just wanna honestly live like Jesus … He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, He died for our sins.”

Bieber does more than just talk about his faith. At a November 13 concert at the Staples Center, Bieber’s pastor took to the stage and gave a sermon to the large crowd. In 2014, the pop star was baptized by Pastor Carl Lentz of Hillsong Church, Bieber’s Church. He has a small cross tattoo on his face, a cross tattoo on his chest, and the word “Yeshua,” the Hebrew name for Jesus, tattooed on his rib cage.

Below is a compilation of video clips of Justin talking about his faith & relationship with God. Hopefully Bieber stays on the right track and continues to spread the love of God, despite the secular influence of Hollywood. I believe that as he continues to journey with God and grow deeper in his relationship with Him, he’ll come to know God and this will eventually lead him to become the person God intended him to be, and that is to be more like Christ. God bless you Justin!
