This 10-Yr Old Boy Got Kidnapped. But Kidnapper Releases Him For He Won’t Stop Praising The Lord!

There is power in praises!

A gospel song entitled ‘Every Praise’ by Hezekiah Walker saved this 10-year-old Atlanta boy from his kidnapper. Willie Myrick said he was in his front yard and bent down to pick up money when somebody grabbed him and threw him in a car.

“He told me he didn’t want to hear a word from me,” Myrick said. That’s when Myrick began to sing a gospel song called “Every Praise.” The kidnapper started cursing and repeatedly told Myrick to shut up, but he wouldn’t. He sang the song for about three hours non-stop until the kidnapper let him out of the car.

Remembered the story of Paul and Silas when they were inside the prison? In Acts 16:25-26, it says,
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”

This incident about Myrick was both a warning and celebration for the family. Warning because kids always must be looked after and, celebration because of the amazing display of God’s power in Myrick’s life. His story had touched so many lives. He even had got the chance of meeting the singer of the song. It got Hezekiah feeling amazed too!
