Prayer Garden is the realization of the dream of Fr. S.J. Berchmans, being a Testimony to the Lord, a pasture for Lord's Children, a meeting point for love and deliverancecourse a house of Prayer and Music. Fr. S.J. Berchmans a person specially gifted by God. He was a priest of Satharasan Patti in Roman Catholic Church, Sivagangai District, Madurai in India. Being a priest, he was involved in a number of spiritual activities such as conducting Music concerts, Conventions Prayer meeting and release of Gospel audio cassettes. During the latter 80's he was touched by the Charismatic movement and it became a burden as the spirit moved continuously with his heart. Fr. S.J. Berchmans Soon Fr. S.J. Berchmans started regular conventions and healing crusades and over 10,000 people attended the meetings every week and 85% of them were from other religion like Hinduism and Islam. Inside the Campus Development The Prayer Garden (Jebathottam) was established by registering as a Trust under Religious Act on 22/3/1991 and hence onwards ministry began to grow dynamically.During those days, the people of neighbouring villages donated 5 acres of land for the ministry of Fr. S.J. Berchmans. Ministry opened many wings and extended its service across the country and from the middle 1990's to different part of the world. Convention and Crusades were organised at different parts of India and overseas along with music programs. Many churches were planted. Audio, Video cassettes and CD's were released in 5 Languages. Presents Entrance Office complex Dormitory Now, Jebathottam Trust is an active, mature organisation in Lord's Vineyard with many activities and programs. Jebathottam is a beautiful Campus with 5 Acres of Land which really resembles the name (Prayer Garden). This is the registered office and Head Quarters of Prayer Garden Ministries. In the Campus, there are:

	A worship place for 4000 people
	Facility for their boarding and lodging for free
	A 24 hours prayer chamber
	Shelter for helpless women
	An evangelism team visiting the neighbouring villages regularly
	A wing to provide study help to school going children
	A wing to support a Bible School by catering food

In the Vineyard: Fr. S.J. Berchmans travels around the world especially to the nook and corner of India with his preaching ministry accompanied by Music, Prayer, Healing and deliverance from the power of darkness

Future Plans Recording Studio: We confidently dream to install a recording studio for the future audio-video ministries where we will have unlimited access to the latest technology and perform more vigorously for our Lord. Let us sing, sing and sing and let it reach to the souls of many. Income Generating Activity for the needy: This is one of the future plan which will be effectively implemented shortly. The poor people in and around Madurai require assistance to start up something and find a lively hood. " We are opening their eyes and it is our duty to show them a way to to find their livelihood and Lord will take care of the rest"
